Chef Eloy Roy, a native of Argentina, has more than 26 years of culinary experience under his belt. Chef Eloy opened the doors to the original OGGI in Miami, Florida back in 1989.. The modest restaurant was launched as a pasta factory and quickly expanded into an award-winning fine-dining establishment. After decades of operating multiple prominent restaurants in Miami, Chef Eloy and his family moved to Charlotte, NC in hopes of bringing OGGI’s distinguished taste to a new audience. Chef Eloy’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence are what continues to evolve the OGGI brand known for our uniquely-tailored dishes meeting the highest of standards.

Manager Eloy Roy Jr. prides himself on providing the best service possible to each and every one of OGGI’s patrons. Eloy Roy was not only raised in his father’s kitchen, but began training as a server at 15 years-old at various established restaurants throughout Miami, FL. Eloy Roy is committed to providing an unmatched level of service driven by creativity and dedication to our clients, and honors his father’s hard work by attempting to working even harder.
